    We are currently seeking a Security Operation Analyst to join our team in Not specified, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

    ROLE TITLE: Security Operation Analyst

    REPORTS TO: Director of Security Operations and Incident response

    FUNCTION: To manage , maintain and operate, and implement security controls and solutions based on CISO policies and standards, with the ultimate goal of reducing risk while enabling NTT Data Services global business.

    DEPARTMENT: CISO

    LOCATION: UK - Romania, US - Plano, India

    Role purpose

    • The Security Analyst team is responsible for testing, designing and implementing security controls and solutions driven by CISO policies and standards to reduce the risk to NTT data and its customers. This includes user networks, data center networks, Wide Area Networks, Cloud networks, and network perimeters.

    Responsibilities

    As a direct report to the Direct report to Director of Security operations, you will have the following accountabilities:

    • Hands on management of tools like Tanium, Qualys, Proofpoint, Next gen EDR tools and SIEM
    • Interface effectively with the systems engineering team to close security risk security solutions and controls;
    • Design and implement mechanisms for assessing compliance with the standards, procedures, and guidelines;
    • Identify and execute on opportunities to automate security controls;
    • Design and build controls to address security risks and events as identified;
    • Define clear, concise, and executable standard operating procedures and documentation for any implemented solutions for formal operational handoff;
    • Support security incident response as required and write security incident reports
    • Embrace a culture of continuous service improvement and service excellence; and
    • Stay up to date on security industry trends.

    Skills and Experience

    Experience

    • 2 years in Information Security space;
    • Strong experience with Tanium, Qualys, Proofpoint, Next gen EDR tools and SIEM
    • Some experience with cloud provider network ecosystems, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and OpenStack Neutron.
    • Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities;
    • Strong Excel skills set
    • Some experience with Unix/Linux system administration;
    • Some experience with logging and alerting platforms, including SIEM integration;
    • Current understanding of Industry trends and emerging threats; and
    • Knowledge of incident response methodologies and technologies.

    Desirable

    • Well-rounded background in network, host, database, and application security;
    • Experience implementing security controls in a bi-modal IT environment;
    • Experience driving a culture of security awareness;
    • Experience administering network devices, databases, and/or web application servers; and

    Abilities

    • Non customer facing role but an ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, and security leadership, is essential.
