Oversees data design and the creation of database architecture and data repositories. Installs processes for auditing data warehouses and ensuring data quality. Additionally, Data Warehousing Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Warehousing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Data Warehousing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Key job responsibilities
This role focuses on language data, primarily in the areas of editing, writing, and general data analysis deliverables. The Sr. Machine Learning Data Associate must be capable of:
- Editing high-quality and engaging copy
- Understanding how people use language to convey meaning
- Delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Translating established guidelines into daily work practices
- Working autonomously with minimal direction
- Handling unique data analysis requests from a range of customers
The ideal Sr. Machine Learning Data Associate:
- Possesses strong copy-editing and writing skills
- Is curious to know how Alexa can answer so many questions
- Exhibits extreme attention to detail
- Utilizes excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrates willingness to support several projects at one time
- Adapts quickly to keep up with changing project conventions and new projects
A day in the life
As a Sr. Machine Learning Data Associate, you are responsible for editing, writing, researching, and delivering high-quality data for internal and external customers. You will learn and master workflow guidelines to hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
About the team
Information Data Operations (IDO) is a team of Machine Learning Data Associates and support staff who help make Alexa smarter and drive efficiencies for stakeholders. We do this by increasing the number of questions Alexa can answer, by improving the overall quality of the answers Alexa serves, and by providing stakeholders high-quality data to make informed, data-driven decisions.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1 year of work experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $44,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $56,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
