Job Title: Expert Database Administrator

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Albany, NY – Onsite

Hourly Wage Range: $55 - $60 

Qualifications:

1. Database Administrator: Makes high-level design choices, sets technical standards, and designs multi-leveled architecture of large-scale software systems.
2. Expert (84 Months): Provides guidance to large teams, possesses extensive industry experience, and is at the top of the field.
3. 84 months troubleshooting Oracle 10g database performance and related issues, collaborating with teams to identify problems at storage, network, database, or application tiers.
4. 84 months working with developers to enhance SQL performance, suggesting optimizations like index creation and eliminating cartesian products.
5. 84 months using RMAN for Oracle 10g database backup, recovery, and related operations.
6. 84 months upgrading and patching Oracle 10g in Unix-like environments, including RAC cluster and DataGuard.
7. 84 months installing Oracle 10g in Unix-like environments, configuring RAC clusters with DataGuard.
8. 48 months with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13 .
9. 48 months with GoldenGate in Oracle database environments.
10. 36 months with Oracle 10g in IBM Cúram architecture application tiers.
11. Oracle 10g Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
12. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

1. Design system architecture, develop system models, and specify interactions between systems.
2. Develop and/or modify technical and design specifications, technical writing, and documentation.
3. Develop web pages and user interfaces.
4. Perform software development and maintenance tasks, including coding, testing, and implementation.
