We are seeking a Database Administrator to join Zions Bancorporation. The Database Administrator plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the data of the organization, while facilitating Business developments and innovations through deploys and user provisioning. We are looking for a Database Administrator who can focus on detailed data problems and come up with creative and efficient solutions. Below are some other responsibilities.
The Database Administrator will:- Support Business partners with their database needs
- Develop and maintain system documentation \ processes.
- Collaborate with our business partners to troubleshoot performance issues.
- Work closely with great teammates to ensure system resources are at optimum levels.
- Coordinate and perform patching efforts.
Qualifications:- 4 years’ experience with Oracle. Experience in SQL Server/Postgres/Db2 is a plus.
- Oracle 19c, multi-tenant, RAC, Exadata Experience needed.
- Knowledge of UNIX and Linux
- Clone\Backup\Restore
- Query tuning, Analyze and be able resolve data issues.
- Excellent troubleshooting\problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills within the team and with Business affiliates.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Experience managing complex customer facing platforms, processes, and tools. Strong working knowledge of financial/banking systems is a plus.
Location:
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus is the company’s primary technology and operations center.
