Database Marketing Analyst performs analysis of marketing databases to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of various marketing programs. Develops strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation. Being a Database Marketing Analyst runs various reports to track retention, identify new customers, and pinpoint opportunities to increase sales to current customers. Ensures that the database is updated and maintained in a timely fashion. Additionally, Database Marketing Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Database Marketing Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Database Administrator - New Iberia, LA Corporate Office
This is a position at the corporate office. No remote positions are available.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor database backups, disaster recovery mirroring, database health, performance, security and updates.
- Maintain the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) server and software.
- Work with billing department to implement new electronic billing arrangements with customers.
- Coordinate billing changes with customers.
- Monitor ongoing EDI transmissions and diagnose problems.
- Assist with Helpdesk issues as needed.
- Other various duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Experience in MS SQL Server & Front end web development technologies.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
- Adaptability and Dependability.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Planning and organization.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic.
Education
- Bachelor’s in Information Technology
- Database-related Certifications a plus
