As an Environmental Report Writer, you will collaborate with our team of Environmental Field Inspectors and Lead Consultants. Following the completion of property inspections by our inspectors, your role will involve crafting comprehensive, precise, and tailored reports for each of our clients.

Why is this role important to us?

The Environmental Report Writer is responsible for the final deliverable of the client’s journey with us as each report will be reviewed in detail with the client by our Lead Consultants. Utilizing our proprietary enterprise software you will organize the inspector's notes, review lab results and write reports detailing out recommended next steps.

This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will need to be onsite in San Diego and able to participate in hybrid work.

You will…

• Communicate with Environmental Field Inspectors daily to review properties in detail
• Review property data uploaded from the inspector
• Review lab results from environmental samples taken from properties
• Write reports detailing out recommended next steps
• Organize property information–including sampling data, specifications, and inspector notes–with clarity, conciseness, style and appropriate terminology
• Review created reports and recommend revisions, change in scope, format, and content
• Provide administrative assistance to the inspection staff
• Engage in continuous learning to be a leading industry expert and provide knowledgeable solutions for our customers

You have…

• Two (2) years of administrative/documentation/report writing experience in a technical environment
• Excellent command of the English language, grammar and punctuation
• Incredible attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with remote teams
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ambition for rapid career progression
• 2 years experience in mold remediation, water restoration, lead/asbestos abatement, HVAC contracting or construction or comparable industry/role, a plus

Benefits

• Hourly, Non-exempt position
• Salary range: $25-26/hour DOE
