Assistant Classroom Teachers
Monday thru Friday (with once monthly evening staff meeting) - full year. Our school is open from 8:00AM to 5:30PM and we are looking for staff who are flexible in working any or all of those hours. Afternoons (after 2PM and until 5:30PM are a must) and flexible mornings if needed for sub coverage are available.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for students
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Support students in their educational and social development
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive classroom behavior
- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed
- Assist with classroom organization and maintenance
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in a preschool or early childhood education environment
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young children
- Ability to assist with lesson planning and implementation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage student behavior in a positive manner
- Knowledge of toddler care practices is a plus
