Day Care Center Teacher oversees the educational activities within the day care classroom. Structures the curriculum and monitors students' progress to ensure activities are meeting the children's needs. Being a Day Care Center Teacher maintains a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent & 1 year experience in child care field required. Must have own transportation. Position available for 2-3 days/week, days of week TBA/flexible, 8:00am-5:30pm. Must be dependable, patient, possess ability to learn quickly, retain & recall what was learned and have a love for children as well as a desire to be in their presence. Duties include but, are not limited to classroom assistance with teaching and aiding children with classwork, leading/developing crafts ideas & aiding children through crafts exercise, preparing meals/snacks, aiding children with potty use, changing diapers, observing and interacting with children during outdoor play while insuring safety of children, securing a safe environment for children inside daycare area, after meals/snacks & end of day cleaning, securing doors & turning off lights & equipment used during day.
