Job Overview
Watson Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Carry out buffing and floor care activities to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Conduct commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices and industrial spaces.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management.
• Support porter duties by moving furniture or equipment as needed for events or maintenance.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, including industrial cleaning techniques.
• Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace consistently.
• Good communication skills to report issues effectively to management.
• Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
• Must be able pass drug screen and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
