Dean of Communications manages administrative functions of the college of communications. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Communications leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Communications requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Communications manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Communications typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We are currently seeking a customer service focused candidate to join our team as a Full-Time Onsite Support Technician. The candidate will help support our television and telephone programs in the hospital by providing front line service to patients and staff, to ensure the services we provide in the hospital meet their expectations.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues affecting services
    • Be responsible to ensure that pCare’s technical requirements are followed and customer satisfaction is achieved for all aspects of the service.
    • Replace defective equipment as needed (remotes, phones, tv's etc)
    • Familiarize customers with the use of our interactive system and its features
    • Be comfortable handling computer documentation including payment records
    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
    • Be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with basic technical/repair skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Customer service experience: 1 year (preferred)
    Physical/Health Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb a 6-foot ladder
    • Must meet hospital requirements for immunizations and screenings.
    • Must be COVID 19 vaccinated

    Location: Hackensack University Medical Center, 30 Prospect Ave. Hackensack, NJ 07601

    Four Weekdays, One Weekend Day Required - 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    *Joining bonus can earn up to $1k
