Dean of Communications manages administrative functions of the college of communications. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Communications leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Communications requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Communications manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. JUNGLE Communications, Inc. is in search of an audacious, hard-working and self motivated Communications and Marketing Assistant to work closely with the CEO and be responsible to help manage client research, marketing creative, client advertising campaigns, response tracking and assist in client advertising productions, events and various agency functions in a fast paced work culture.
This is an in-office position and is not available as a remote position.
The successful Communications & Marketing Assistant candidate should:
- have a strong interest in marketing, media and communications, and must be a skilled writer.
- be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously,
- be able to work well under the pressure of multiple deadlines and a wide range of creative personalities,
- be detail-oriented, energetic and highly organized,
- possess strong research skills, familiarity with major media outlets, and proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must,
- experience working with faith-based organizations, and comfortable communicating within that culture,
- have a clean drivers license and be available to drive and/or travel when necessary
Work Experience utilizing the following is a PLUS:
Google Analytics, Google My Business or Google Tag Manager
FB/Instagram/ Ad Business Manager/ Meta Business Suite
Experience with PPC platforms
Knowledge of SEO best practices
NOT required, but a PLUS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
Copywriting and/or blog writing experience
Experience working with faith-based organizations
