Dean Honda, located in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, is looking to add a new Automotive Technician to their team. This person will be accountable for repairing vehicles and their ongoing maintenance for our loyal customers.

The ideal candidate will have previous automotive experience working with a variety of engines, be a reliable employee, exhibit teamwork, and add value to our organization.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance Tasks include oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front end alignments, inspections, battery installations, and headlight / taillight installations.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures Includes extensive diagnostic inventory to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Manage paperwork Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.
• Maintain cleanliness - Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED
• An ASE certification from a trade or technical school in automotive or engineering is desirable for this position.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
• Willingness to participate in in-house training
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Motor Vehicle Inspections License (required)
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Pay : Compensation based on experience, but typically is between $20-$34 / hour flat rate

Dean Honda is a full-service Honda dealership in the South Hills of Pittsburgh that has been in business more than 35 years and is locally owned and operated.

The dealership features a state-of-the-art service center with the most current diagnostic and repair equipment available.

The service department has three internal drop-off bays, 17 lifts and an on-site car wash.

We service all auto vehicle makes and models. We also have an on-site Genuine Honda parts department.

The Service department is open :

Monday- Friday : 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Saturday : 7 a.m. 3 p.m.

Sunday : CLOSED
