Program Developer, Continuing Education

Basic Function: Responsible for planning and maintaining Continuing Education non-Health classes for both professional and personal development, with a primary focus on the development of Short-Term Certificates and developing/maintaining pathways to credit courses. The position works closely with other program team members, the Operations Team, and the credit faculty/staff in developing, scheduling, and implementing current offerings and new initiatives. The Program Developer is involved with program management including needs-assessments, administration of program areas, program analysis/selection, analysis of trends and research, new program development, and the procurement and management of continuing education instructors.
Salary & Benefits: Salary of $52,500 - $63,000 based on experience. Benefits package includes Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance; eye care, dental, life and disability insurance; paid vacation and sick leave; a choice of IPERS or TIAA retirement plans; and a variety of additional optional benefits.
Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree plus 3-5 years of successful full-time experience in an educational or business setting with experience in training, instructional design or program management and development. Must possess the ability to communicate comfortably and effectively with business people and adult students. Ability to work independently, accept responsibility with limited supervision, manage multiple tasks to completion, and work with frequent interruptions.
