JOB SUMMARY:
The Education Assistant assists in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and overseeing educational activities, including but not limited to the Student Services program and other non-clinical education programs as determined by manager.
The Education Assistant works collaboratively with the Manager to assess, plan, implement and evaluate all services provided. He/she may collaborate with the American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center Coordinator (TCC) to instruct BLS classes as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree preferred, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor. The BLS Instructor course will be offered as indicated after hire.
Experience: Two or more years in clerical, and computer skills, education/instructor experience
Equipment/Technology: Microsoft Office Suite
Language/Communication: English
Mathematical Skills: Basic
Mental Capabilities: Ability to critically think and multi-task
Interpersonal: Effectively communicate with administration, managers, and staff
Performance: Requires strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Requires ability to work independently and with groups/teams as both project leader and team member. Requires attention to detail and ability to assimilate large amounts of information from various sources. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and can work effectively with diverse personalities. Requires experience with computer technology.
