Phillips Exeter Academy seeks applications and nominations for the position of Dean of Students.

Established in 1781, Phillips Exeter Academy is a co-ed, independent, residential school celebrating 242 years of fostering curiosity and cultivating potential. The Harkness pedagogy originated at our school and is a way of life at Exeter which extends far beyond the classroom. Today, Exeter is home to over 1,000 students from grades 9 through 12 and postgraduates from the US and 31 foreign countries. Our diverse community is underpinned by our timeless mission to “Unite goodness and knowledge and inspire youth from every quarter to lead purposeful lives,” and by our deep commitment to academic excellence and to diversity, equity and inclusion.

We now seek an inspirational leader to join our community as Dean of Students. Reporting directly to the Principal, the Dean of Students will contribute to the strategic direction of our school as a key member of the administration, while ensuring that the Exeter experience continues to be supportive and transformative for our students.
