Dean of Fine Arts manages administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Fine Arts leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Fine Arts requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Fine Arts manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Fine Arts typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Fine Art Teacher (On Site)
Do you have excellent realistic drawing and painting skills and absolutely love kids? Would you love to work where one-on-one relationships are warmly encouraged, and where a small group staff support one another in caring, family-like environment? Art Steps, a busy art studio for children, teens and adults, is looking for a kind, fun-loving artist with excellent realistic drawing and painting skills to teach the use of charcoal, pastels, watercolors, acrylics and oils.
We train all our teachers in our methodology, step-by-step, in a classical, highly realistic art program. We also provide assistance in the classroom after you start teaching, so that you always have support.
Starting as a part time sub/summer workshop teacher with potential for more hours.
Qualifications:
Are you interested in learning to teach art as a career? With Art Steps you can work your way up to 3-5 days a week, after starting as a substitute or seasonal workshop teacher. Earn seniority in a program that connects you to an artist community.
