Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a file manager. As a file manager, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our office. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a professional office, who is computer literate and has excellent typing and customer service skills. No legal experience required. Hours: 9 am - 3 pm (4 pm optional) with hour off for lunch daily, Monday - Thursday. Closed on Fridays. Please provide a resume and leave a voice mail at the number given. No office visits or office phone calls please. One week paid vacation after one year of service. Some holidays paid after one year.

Duties:
- Answer phone calls

- Open new files, which includes data entry, requesting medical records

- Prepare correspondence to SSA and clients

- Help manage records received, including reviewing, scanning, copying, efiling

- Prepare client forms accurately and timely

- Help file appeals occasionally

- Assist with incoming mail

- Provide general administrative support to office staff

Skills:
- Experience working in a professional office is preferred
- Proficient in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
