Dean of Law manages administrative functions of the college of law. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Law leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Law requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Law manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a file manager. As a file manager, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our office. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a professional office, who is computer literate and has excellent typing and customer service skills. No legal experience required. Hours: 9 am - 3 pm (4 pm optional) with hour off for lunch daily, Monday - Thursday. Closed on Fridays. Please provide a resume and leave a voice mail at the number given. Duties:
- Answer phone calls
- Open new files, which includes data entry, requesting medical records
- Prepare correspondence to SSA and clients
- Help manage records received, including reviewing, scanning, copying, efiling
- Prepare client forms accurately and timely
- Help file appeals occasionally
- Assist with incoming mail
- Provide general administrative support to office staff
Skills:
- Experience working in a professional office is preferred
- Proficient in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
