Under the direction of the President or designee, the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for the overall design, organization, delivery, supervision, evaluation, and fiscal management of a comprehensive office of institutional effectiveness.
There is currently one full-time vacancy located at Oxnard College, pending board approval.

Oxnard College was founded in 1975 and is the newest of the three community colleges in the county. Set on 118 acres and located two miles from Pacific Ocean beaches, the college is easily accessible by the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) or the Pacific Coast Highway.

The Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) is a public community college district serving residents through Ventura County. Assist campus leadership in assessing, identifying, formulating, directing and implementation of the College mission. E
Provide leadership for the continued evaluation of instruction, student services and business and administrative services support programs. E
Coordinate and prepare timely, accurate and comprehensive reports and responses to all required state, federal, and district and college departments. E
Assist with the systematic integration of planning and program review in institutional effectiveness, staff development, student equity, accreditation, grants evaluation, student learning outcomes and budgeting, ensuring alignment with the Educational Master Plan, Strategic Enrollment Management Plan and accreditation process. E
Assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-range strategies, goals and objectives for college strategic planning. E
Assist with the design and implementation of an annual evaluation of the College’s institutional plans and its planning processes. E
Lead the development, implementation, and data analysis of surveys, databases, dashboards and other information needed to support academic, departmental and college efforts in decision making, assessment, budgeting, evaluations, program review, student learning outcomes, student equity, planning and enrollment management. E
Provide leadership in the dissemination of institutional data to departments and offices to advance student equity, success, and completion. E
Monitor and keep the campus community current concerning demographics and community information and adequacy and effectiveness of college service. E
Provide support of the campus enrollment management process. E
Identify primary institutional, local, state, federal and national demographics, economic trends, and other data to be used in research projects, reports, presentations, educational planning, and development. E
Coordinate and prepare timely and accurate instructional reports required by various federal, state, district and college departments, including providing data for state and federal grants. E
Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned employees, set performance requirements and goals, monitor and coach for improvement, promote excellence and customer service, and take disciplinary action if needed according to District rules. E
Work collaboratively and professionally with faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, and ethnic communities. E
Demonstrate cultural humility, sensitivity, and equity-mindedness in working with individuals from diverse communities; model inclusive behaviors; and achieve equity in assignment-related outcomes. E
Serve on management councils and other college and district committees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
1. Possession of a master's degree; and
2. One year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrator's administrative assignment.
All coursework must be from a recognized accredited college or university.

SALARY RANGE
$11,621.50/ month to $15,573.75
With a doctorate add $6,447.53/year
STARTING SALARY
Dependent on education and experience
Fringe benefits include family medical, dental, life, and vision insurance plans. The work year is 12 calendar months, including 20 vacation days per year, two floating holidays, and an additional three days off during the winter break.

The following must be submitted for your application to be considered:
A.) A completed Ventura County Community College District/GovernmentJobs.com Employment Application. In the event that multiple applications are received from a candidate, the District will only give consideration to the first application that was submitted. All sections of the application must be filled out. Resumes are not a substitute for completing the “Work Experience” section of the employment application.
B.) A letter of application, no more than five pages, that includes the date, applicant's name, and the position for which the applicant wishes to be considered. In the letter, the applicant must demonstrate how s/he meets the minimum qualifications for the assignment. The letter should also describe the applicant's understanding of and sensitivity to the diverse academic, social, economic, cultural, ethnic and disability backgrounds of community college students. Finally, the letter should give the committee a clear understanding of how s/he will contribute, as a fully participating member of the Ventura County Community College District, in leading the college toward achieving its mission.
C.) A current resume summarizing educational and administrative background and experience.
D.) Official or unofficial copies of college/university transcripts demonstrating attainment of minimum qualifications. Transcripts must show the degree title and the date the degree was conferred or the degree will not be considered for the purpose of determining if you meet minimum qualifications. Diplomas will not be accepted in lieu of transcripts. An official copy of your transcripts will be required upon being hired.

FOREIGN TRANSCRIPTS
If you have completed coursework at a foreign institution that is not recognized as accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the U.S. Department of Education, you must include a full evaluation of the foreign transcript with your application materials if you wish for us to consider the coursework. Please include a copy of the foreign transcript that was evaluated. Visit the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the U.S. Department of Education to search for institutions that are recognized as accredited. If you need your transcripts evaluated, please review the list of agencies approved for foreign transcript evaluation. If applicable, an official copy of your foreign transcript evaluation will also be required upon hire.
SELECTION PROCESS
A screening committee will review and screen all applications and associated materials. Those candidates deemed by the committee to be most qualified for the position will be invited to an interview.
