The School of Nursing celebrated its 60th anniversary celebration in 2016. The School of Nursing offers the undergraduate degrees in nursing (RN-BSN, accelerated nursing and the traditional baccalaureate (BSN)) with approximately 225 students, masters (MSN) with approximately 12 students, doctor of nursing practice (DNP) with approximately 100 students, and doctor of philosophy (PhD) in nursing with approximately 10 students. The School of Nursing is a member of the COH, which is home to 17 distinct disciplines, 12 departments, 41 programs and 178 faculty and staff. The College of Health supports over 4000 students and serves the state-wide mission to educate health care professionals. The School of Nursing has 19 full time faculty and 9 staff. The Associate Dean/Director of the School of Nursing reports to the Dean of the College of Health and is a 12-month position.
