Job description:

As a Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training at Roundup Family Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Processing prescription orders, including data entry and filling prescriptions
• Managing inventory levels and ordering medications, products and supplies for both the pharmacy and front store
• Providing excellent customer service to patients
• Maintaining meticulous record keeping and documentation
• Adhering to all pharmacy regulations and standards to ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy technician license (CPhT) preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a retail setting is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with basic computer proficiencies
