    Job Description
    The School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications and nominations for a full-time Assistant Dean for Clinical and Community Programs. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Clinical and Global Partnerships and is responsible for facilitating the development of clinical partnerships that support the needs of the School of Nursing programs.
    Candidates for this faculty position should have demonstrated leadership/administrative experience in an academic setting with clinical partnerships, and in nursing education regulatory, accreditation, certification, and credentialing requirements. A doctorate in nursing or a related field is required. Candidates must hold an unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of Alabama or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama. Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service and scholarship components of the faculty role. Rank, tenure, and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional background and experience. This is not a remote position.

    • Successful grant writing and program management experience
