Decision Support Project Specialist jobs in Austin, TX

Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Scheduling Coordinator (Project Support Specialist)

  • Project Support Specialists are responsible for scheduling consultations between GLG's clients and selected Network Members, including business leaders, scientists, academics, former public sector leaders and subject matter specialists.SchedulingCoordinators will be introduced to GLG's business model, project lifecycles, and end-client markets.SchedulingCoordinators will also acquire experience and expertise in client servicing and professional communication.

    Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    • Schedule consultations between GLG's clients and Network Members and provide support in an efficient, personable, and thorough manner
    • Appreciate the urgency of competing projects and prioritize accordingly
    • Navigate requests with varying compliance requirements and client-specific preferences
    • Establish and build strong working relationships with GLG Client Solutions colleagues and clients
    • Successfully execute against project objectives, seeing many projects through to completion
    • Align with and develop an understanding of a specific end-client market

    An ideal candidate will have the following:

    • 1-2 years in a customer service role. Previous scheduling or coordinating experience is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree or higher (required)
    • Superior communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral and written abilities
    • Demonstrated commitment and attention to detail, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Passion for fast-paced learning, especially in a technology-enabled environment
    • Ability to communicate and manage relationships across the full professional spectrum including senior colleagues and extremely senior outside professionals
    • Interest in building a business and in all business-building related activities
    • Ability to think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth
    • Strong desire to work in a team
    • Ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
    • Ability to work responsibly, both independently and collaboratively as needs warrant, in an ever-changing, and fast-paced environment

    Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

    The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
    $46,800-$50,000 USD
