Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform both basic and advanced bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, reconciling multiple accounts, cash flow reports, general ledger, vendor invoice tracking, POs, accounts receivable, as well as monthly financial reports and statements required by executive team
Perform administrative and general office activities as required by the agency
Prepare reports, administrative documents, financial statements and other documents
Manage schedules as needed for management by making travel accommodations, internal meetings and appointments and/or other arrangements
Prepare agendas and make arrangements for catering and luncheons for meetings
Document meeting minutes for team meetings as required
Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for onboarding and administration of benefits such as payroll, unemployment and medical insurance (payroll is outsourced)
Take an active role in determining, analyzing and implementing administrative policies and procedures that are shared across the company
Monitor the office to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing and database systems
Answer phone calls, general mailbox emails, greet visitors and direct all contacts with the company to the appropriate parties or take messages
May be asked to provide similar support for The Brewery (home office and co-working space)
This is a part-time position to start, and could become full-time position if right for all parties.
