Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Responsibilities of Position
The Project Specialist II will plan, organize, and implement a variety of entertainment events from concerts to festivals to comedy and more in the new downtown entertainment district, a pedestrian-only, community gathering space and stage that will be programmed with live programming from 10 pm to 1 am every Friday and Saturday night from May 31 to October 5, 2024. They will partner with local businesses, sponsors, community stakeholders and City departments to enhance the overall downtown nightlife experience. The Project Specialist II will lead event marketing and promotion, budget oversight, and gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders.
