Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters.     We are looking for a Project Support Specialist to help us during the construction of a $400 million expansion. As a Trex Project Support Specialist, you’ll be responsible for collaborating with receiving to ensure the transfer of proper purchasing documentation. This role is a key member of our Maintenance team.

    This is a unique opportunity to join the organization at an expansion stage and help build talent and culture from the ground up, as we build Trex’s new location in Little Rock. A high level of accountability and coordination, along with a focus on relationships and willingness to travel regularly to other established locations during the early months of this role will be key components to success.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Put safety first – Always!
    • Work as a team to drive our “people first” culture.
    • Upkeep of current vendor relations and building new vendor relations.
    • Collaborate with accounting to manage accounts payable.
    • Collaborate with receiving to ensure the transfer of proper purchasing documentation.
    • Receive all incoming equipment using a forklift or telehandler.
    • Maintain organization of all store equipment.
    • Schedule rigging vendors for heavy equipment deliveries.
    • Schedule all deliveries with vendors to ensure safe and efficient receipt of equipment.
    • Provide continuous updates of inventory levels.
    • Track/manage warehouse storage to allow for maximum utilization of space.
    • Enter equipment information into JDE system for tracking and accountability.
    • Work with the Maintenance Manager to develop, edit, and maintain the spare parts list.
    • Plan for ordering of spare parts based on lead times and availability.
    • Frequent inspections of equipment located in various storage locations and report all issues.
    • Promote and practice all aspects of job safety.
    • Always demonstrate Trex cultural values and beliefs.
    • Willing to travel for training (up to 25% in the beginning but decreasing as system abilities increase).

    EXPERIENCE

    A high school diploma is required for this role and Forklift experience is preferred. If you have worked as a Maintenance Administrator, we want to hear from you!
