Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. The Special Projects and Support Leader is part of the Operations Leadership Team and is responsible for working directly with the Chief Operations Officer and leadership team, to ensure each project is coordinated and, executed well with the right amount of cross-collaboration within Operations or within other functional teams to ensure each project meets the desired outcomes and objectives within the established timeline.
This leader will be responsible for building strong relationships across the entire organization in order to ensure the right resources and teams are brought together and collaborate well so that all special projects are successful.
This leader is also responsible for learning the entire operations of the store as well as each corporate team in order to adequately collaborate and be an influential resource for the Chief Operations Officer.
As part of the responsibilities of this role, this leader will also help with administrative tasks such as meeting set-up, meeting facilitation, and organization. Create resources for successful communications or presentations as needed.
