Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters.     Itron is embarking on its Workday journey, and we’re seeking a top-tier individual with technical experience in Workday. This position, IT Delivery- Workday Integrations Specialist, will be primarily responsible for development and sustainment of integrations to and from Workday, as well as Tier 3 consulting as a subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team setting, process improvement, and development and administration experience in Workday.  Role could be expanded to other areas within Itron solution portfolio where needed.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Subject matter expert for Workday integrations on all integration platforms.
    • Helping to design, develop, test, and deploy integrations between Workday and various internal and external systems using Workday technologies such as Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Web Services, etc., that serve our evolving business needs.
    • Work closely with HR, Finance, and other groups needing data from Workday
    • Assist HRIS with business process development and regression testing Workday updates
    • Deliver on Workday projects, change requests, and enhancements
    • Support data cleansing, data enrichment, and data conversion activities
    • Work closely with IT integration and development teams
    • Identify and recommend opportunities to build efficiencies through enhanced system capabilities and automation
    • Prepare and maintain integration and process documentation

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Integration development experience with Workday Core HCM and other modules.
    • 2 years of integration development and support experience with Workday
    • Knowledge and experience of Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, PECI, Cloud Connectors, Document Transformation, and BIRT
    • Expertise in data transformation languages including XSLT, XTT/ETV
    • Strong understanding of Workday SOAP and REST web service directories and related security domains
    • Experience in working on successful system implementations
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office 

    Education: BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar degree

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • Experience or knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, and Configure, Price, Quote applications 
    • Experience or knowledge of iPaaS solutions such as Boomi or Mulesoft
    • Workday certification and end-user experience a plus

    Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

      

    The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary is $75,000 - $141,000. This position also includes a competitive benefit package including; financial, social, health and wellbeing programs, paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and more!
