Decision Support Specialist provides guidance and solutions to users working with decision support software and data tools. Assists in the preparation, deployment, and delivery of decision support tools to users. Being a Decision Support Specialist analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Decision Support Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Decision Support Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Election reporters are needed to relay results from the Presidential Primary elections on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024. Reporter must arrive at a designated election office by 6:45PM and update the results as they come in. Selected applicants will be messaged through the Indeed email and will be directed to email our Director of Elections for online training.
NOTE: All reporters are expected to follow state, county, and local rules regarding entry to public buildings. It will be the duty of the reporter to be aware of these rules, particularly regarding COVID-19.Skills
- Timeliness: the goal of Decision Desk HQ is to be the first outlet to report results.
- Attention to detail: reporters must be able to enter results accurately.
Requirements
- Must have a smartphone.
- Must have or be willing to install the Discord app (https://www.discord.com)
- Must be able to arrive at a designated location 15 minutes before polls close.
- Must pass a skills assessment (delivered by Indeed)
- Reporters will undergo a 15 minute online review/training, scheduled with Director of Elections
Note: this is for March 12th, 2024. There will be opportunities for work in future elections, including 2024. Pay of $125 is for each evening of work, running 6:45pm until approximately 1045pm. Payment is made through direct deposit after verification of the work completed via Bill.com.
