    About your Role:

    As a Peer Support Specialist, you will support a caseload of individuals matching your specialist to help clients achieve their treatment plan goals. This role will provide support and knowledge from your own lived-experiences to adults with severe and persistent mental illness or emotional disturbance with are actively involved in mental health treatment on their path to recovery. Promoting hope, wellness and recovery outcomes for clients and their natural support system. You will engage with clients in their treatment and provide education, support and community resource services to motivate their own recovery process. This position requires a one (1) week on-call (virtual or in-person) rotation every 7-10 weeks. 

     

    Perks of this role:

    • Competitive pay range: $16.00-$18.00/hour
    • Flexible schedule: 8am-5pm weekdays including virtual sessions
    • Company vehicle use rotation

     

    Does the following apply to you?
     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Previous personal, lived-in experience with addition, mental health diagnosis or abuse AND in recovery for at least two (2) years ** this position requires you to self-identify with clients in an effort to aid in their recovery and growth
    • Certified OR ability to become Certified as a Peer Support Specialist
    • Valid state driver’s license in good standing

    Preferred:

    • At least one (1) years of direct population/community support experience
