  • HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Track Controller to provide daily supervision and coordination, ensuring tests are conducted safely.

    In this role, you will provide general oversight for all activities at the facility, verifying safe and secure operations and alerting track users of any hazardous conditions. You will also monitor activity on the ground level, ensuring personnel and vehicle safety on test surfaces and high traffic areas.

    The ideal candidate has strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.

    As a Track Controller you will:
    • Work outdoors managing vehicle traffic to/from testing surface areas of the facility for clearance and safety.
    • Manage radio communications while keeping in constant contact with security/teams.
    • Establish a collaborative working environment and communicate with vendors/suppliers/contractors visiting the facility.
    • Stay updated with documented facility protocols/procedures and enforce safety policies.
    • Ensure daily operations run smoothly with minimal interruptions.
    • Maintain radios (e.g. charge and sanitize), monitor generator equipment and ensure common areas are in working condition.
    • Allocate/monitor onsite parking and coordinate non-test vehicles (e.g. auxiliary, support and utility).
    • Prepare test surfaces, monitor vehicle charge levels and assist testing teams.
    • Deploy vehicle software and collect end-of-day vehicle data.
    • Drive mobile cart to/from common areas to load/unload items.
    • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently
