Demand Planner jobs in Florence, AL
The Demand Planner determines the best metrics to use to provide the most accurate representation of the forecast. Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to determine the amount of finished product that will be produced. Being a Demand Planner may require a bachelor's degree. Works with other departments to determine optimal inventory levels. In addition, Demand Planner typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Working as a Demand Planner typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Must be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with both internal and external customers. Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills. Prepares purchase requisitions for direct order parts, material and equipment. Prepare extraordinary expense and capital expenditure requests as required. Prepares daily schedules and outage plans. Reviews and determines spare parts requirements and prepares stock requests per requisitions. Assembles data and estimates for preparation of budget. Requests and coordinates contract work and outside services. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned. Competitive pay and benefit package.
