    Primary Function

    The Deputy Program Manager assists the Program Manager with oversight of the Unaccompanied Children & Family Unit (UC & FAMU) Transportation services and operations. Ensures all aspects of administration, technical, contractual requirements and client expectations are met.

    All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Actively support and uphold the Company's stated vision, mission and values.

    Responsibilities

    • Assists with program control, compliance risk management, financial control, and process improvements.

    • Assists the Program Manager with overseeing the on demand transportation services and operation and shall be available and accessible to ERO by mobile phone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

    • Monitors, tracks, and ensures all sites establish internal, site-specific operation implementation instructions to meet contractual requirements.

    • Ensures the dissemination of guidance from the Program Manager to all program personnel.

    • Ensures operational plans adhere to the highest relevant safety standards, are planned, and communicated in advance and are professionally implemented.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    • Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or more than four years of related experience may be substituted for a degree).

    • Have at least two years or more of documented experience in a field related to business administration, statistics, data analysis, data management or similar occupational area; and ( a minimum of four years of experience is required when an associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree).

    • Certification, licensure, and credentials applicable to the professional accreditation of the position and (a minimum of four years of experience in a related field is required when an associate degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree); and

    • Management experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement, sufficient to communicate with other staff, and appropriate for a similar program environment.

    • Clean criminal background check, a favorable credit check, and no prior drug use.

    • Psychological, honesty/integrity validation pre-employment screening and annual re-screening.

    • Must be proficient in English; able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication.

    • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.

    • Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.

    • Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.

    • Must be able to work full time hours, weekends, and holidays.

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.

    • Must be a US citizen.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5 years' experience in management

    • ORR or ICE experience

    • CPR/First Aid certification

    • Bilingual

    Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

    • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environment.

    • Must be available to travel as needed.
