GreyHawk Design & Fabrication is a manufacturer of custom designed stationary and portable plants for sand and aggregate processing applications, including fines recovery, sand processing, polymer mixing systems, aggregate washing, crushing, and screening.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the assembly technician, you are responsible for assembling GreyHawk Design & Fabrication portable plants and modular structures.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Reading and interpreting blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles.
• Using shop paperwork to complete machine assembly.
• Installing purchase parts and sub-assemblies.
• Installing hydraulic components and controls.
• Installing electrical components.
• Updating paperwork to reflect any changes.
• Operating the following equipment safely - Ironworker, Small Band Saw, Drill Presses, Cutting Torch, forklifts, overhead crane, and other equipment, as required.
• Test-running completed equipment prior to shipment.
• Clean and maintain shop supplies and shop area as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Professional communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule.
• Proactive problem solver with work experience demonstrating ability to efficiently complete assigned and unassigned tasks.
• Demonstrate excellent work ethic with self-motivation, ability to work safely with minimal supervision, while maintaining the expectations of thoroughness.
• Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, push, climb, move, reach, and work overhead, lift up to 75lbs. and work in all weather conditions.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

• A high school or technical school degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
