This position will provide deskside and remote support to senior level staff. Supported technologies will include but will not be limited to in the following technology areas; Windows operating systems, COTS software applications, desktop and laptop support including hardware peripherals, printer support. This position is located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Desktop Support Team.  Duties include:

• Provide white-glove level technical support to senior level staff.
• Support Windows operating systems to include application installation, software updates, general trouble shooting, etc
• Provide expert level hardware support to cover desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide technical support and guidance for mobile devices.
• Be subject matter expert on the applicable governance for present technologies.
• Be liaison to upper tier support and track reported incidents to their resolution.

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• Experience providing deskside technical support within a corporate like environment.
• Expert level knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
• Experience providing technical support for the Windows Office suite of applications.
• Hands-on experience supporting desktops, laptops, printer, and desktop peripherals.
• Knowledge of hardware inventory control is a plus.
• Possess soft skills such as effective communication, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
• Highschool diploma required.
• Technical training certifications are a plus.
• Cyber security certification or the ability to earn within two months of employment required. Training towards obtain said certification will be provided by UTRS.
• Must be US Citizen
