Development Project Coordinator
Full-Time
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week; some evenings and weekends.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Development Project Manger will assist the Director of Development
in the planning, organizing and implementing of an agency-wide Development Plan for its meal and
housing programs. This will also include program and project specific plans. This will include fund
raising, event planning, donor relations, project management, advocacy of the programs with
community stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Steering complex projects to successful completion, ensuring that project goals align with the
strategic objectives of the organization.
2. Planning, initiating, designing, executing and monitoring the life cycle of all assigned
projects.
3. Strategize and plan outreach to gamer community support for projects. Attend and participate in
community and organization meetings as needed.
4. Build alliances and strategic partnerships within the non-profit community.
5. Develop and cultivate relationships with donors and evaluate fundraising endeavors.
6. Make public appearances to share information about Axess Family Services
7. Assist in building financial and in-kind support for programs through preparation of or
assisting with grants and fundraising activities.
8. Research best practices in order to assist with development and review of program procedures.
9. Work closely with the management team for organizational strategies.
10. Demonstrate professional conduct at all times.
11. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements,
and educational / certification / registry requirements.
12. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if
applicable.
2. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal
Identification & Investigation) if applicable.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
4. Proven ability to engage a variety of businesses and individuals in investing in a product or
service
5. Proven ability to develop and execute plans to increase revenue of a product line or service
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED,
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
