Position Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Location: Port Charlotte

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:
We are looking for a candidate who is experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong background in permitting and contract administration. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate the complexities of the Charlotte County Permitting Department, including scheduling inspections, resolving administrative issues, and managing the submission and tracking of plan revisions.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in Administering Multiple Projects: Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize tasks across various projects.
• Permitting and Contract Administration Experience: Familiarity with the processes and requirements for obtaining permits and managing contracts.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous approach to handling project details.
• Charlotte County Permitting Department Experience: Direct experience working with the Charlotte County Permitting Department, including scheduling inspections, resolving administrative matters, and managing plan revisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating project needs and coordinating with team members and stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

• Past construction experience is preferred.
• Experience with Procore project management software is highly preferred.
