Being a Development Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. We are currently looking to fill a part-time Development Coordinator position. This position is responsible for all donor database management, donor recognition and gift acknowledgment, reports, and queries. This role is responsible for pulling accurate lists for all direct mailings, email campaigns, donor relationship journeys and fundraising queries as scheduled and requested by the Development Team. The Development Coordinator also coordinates the Annual Healing Hearts Luncheon including table captain recruitment, sponsor relations, gift processing, budget management, décor, and volunteers. Additionally, this position coordinates any annual direct mailings (Holiday Card Campaign) and supports all KIDS Center fundraising initiatives (including but not limited to Cork & Barrel) and beneficiary events.
A successful Development Coordinator will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in the development field, and three years’ experience coordinating events and other complex activities in support of development objectives. A combination of education and years of experience may be considered to meet the requirement.
Experience with online donor technology, ability to analyze data, run accurate queries, and database management skills are essential.
The right fit will have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with leadership, prospects, donors, sponsors, vendors and/or volunteers in a wide range of roles.

Our starting hourly wage ranges from $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience for a 32-hour work week.
