Development Manager supervises operations to execute an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, and capital development initiatives supporting short- and long-term organizational revenue objectives. Implements and supports donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Development Manager collaborates with corporate or governmental partnerships. Coordinates staff and stakeholders in event planning and communication to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Development Manager manages a donor database and tools to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. May oversee or participate in the grant writing and proposal process. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Development Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. The office manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
- Weekly payroll
- Apply prevailing wage rates, benefits, and deductions.
- Manage and maintain certified payroll.
- Entry and process of accounts receivable and payables
- Handle budgeting and financial tasks, including managing expenses and invoices
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Efficiently work with with CPA on tax prep and payments
- Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with human resources functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations
- Work with office staff and ensure efficient workflow
- Perform general clerical duties as needed
- Maintain insurance policies as well as maintain incident report filing
- Maintain regulatory requirements on state and federal levels
- Foster a positive work environment
- Maintain quarterly and annual reporting of OSHA, MSHA, IFTA.
- Manage CDL and DOT requirements.
- Maintain and manage DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Maintain and manage company drug policy
- Maintain and manage random drug testing policy
- Proven experience in an office management, financial, and administrative role
- Proven experience with payroll on federal wage projects
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Suite
- Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in file management systems and record keeping
- Familiarity with phone systems and the ability to handle calls professionally
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules efficiently
- Drivers license
