ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
WORK ORIENTATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Requires two years experience in healthcare food service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an office setting within the kitchen environment with frequent visits to a healthcare setting. Work involves sitting for extended periods of time, with frequent walking and standing. Bends, lifts and carries objects up to 10 pounds intermittently throughout the work day. Constant use of computer keyboard and monitor and telephone. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Requires ability to talk and hear.
May be required to work weekends, holidays, evenings and/or nights, and during emergent situations such as extreme weather conditions or disasters. May experience stress associated with multiple demands and time constraints.
Little or no risk of exposure to body fluids, infectious waste, or blood borne disease. Employees will be instructed in the proper use of personal protective equipment and specific protocol if assigned duties where they may be at risk.
