Diet Clerk jobs in Ohio

Under moderate supervision, this position monitors and maintains processes to ensure quality of foodservice and nourishments/tube feedings to all patients. Processes diet orders and coordinates patient tray assembly. Maintains confidentiality of all patient information. Works competently with patients in all age groups.

Minimum Qualifications (include):

• Required: Highschool Diploma or GED
• Preferred: 6 months previous food experience; Healthcare experience
• Must be able to read and follow directions. 
• Must have the ability to work independently. 
• Capable of doing basic math skills i.e. addition and subtraction. 
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, including excellent phone etiquette. 
• Must have keyboarding computer skills and ability to use office equipment. 
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize work and think clearly. 
• Knowledgeable of modified diets and standardized portions. 

Position Type/Hours:

Full Time (100%) ; Variable hours Monday-Friday.

 All shifts will require weekend and holiday hours.
