Being a Diet Technician computes analysis of patients intake and calorie count results. Requires an associate degree. Additionally, Diet Technician typically reports to a dietitian. Typically requires Dietetic Technician - Registered (DTR). The Diet Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
