Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Our Dietary Aide is a job classification which represents approximately twelve (12) various work station assignments. The overall responsibilities and functions of the Dietary Aide include: tray assembly, dish washing, timely, accurate and quality completion of assigned work. We are always looking for positive, dependable, caring individuals to join our team to meet the growing demand in our community for quality care.
DIETARY AIDE DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Reading and interpreting menu spread sheets and resident tray cards while assembling resident trays
- Operating kitchen equipment: dish machine, coffee and juice machine, toaster, trash compactor, can cleaner, spray hoses, lowerators, and steam tables.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Loading and unloading racks of dishware into the dish machine.
- Transporting supplies to and from storage to trayline or other areas throughout the facility.
- General cleaning assignments such as: doors, counters, equipment, garbage cans, racks and carts, floors and baseboards.
- Pots and pans station: washing and storage of pots and pans, mopping and sweeping, and cleaning of immediate work area.
- Preparing and delivering nourishments to all nursing units.
- Serving cafeteria meals. Cleans, serves and operates cash register in the employee cafeteria.
- Follows all safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Works with safety in mind at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information and honor the residents personal and property rights.
