The Shannon Gray Rehabilitation and Recovery Center Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing meals according to specific dietary needs of residents, serving food, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, and assisting with mealtime needs under the direction of a registered dietitian, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and safe food handling practices are followed at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Support dietary department staff in food handling and meal preparation tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, addressing their dietary needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food service delivery.
• Adhere to food safety protocols and assist in inventory management.
