REMOTE Functional Dietitian/Nutritionist Position

The Ditch the Diet Program (coaching program by Healthy Weight Loss RD) is EXPANDING!

Our company is progressing quickly… and I mean FAST! The results of our clients almost seem contagious! So much that we have to hold off on enrolling more people because we need to make some solid additions to our team (and it could be you!)

In the past 2 years alone, the DTD program has enrolled over 300 dedicated women in our virtual health and fitness coaching program. This is an important number to us as we are providing a 1-1, personalized service rather than just giving women a plan and saying “good luck” as most online health coaching businesses do.

We are looking to hire someone positive, self-motivated, and READY to grow with us!

Specifically, we are looking for a virtual Registered Dietitian that will help us in our process of empowering women to create permanent changes in their health. In the DTD program, we apply scientific knowledge and strategy to the way they reach their goals (we are a team of dietitians specializing in functional medicine approaches). You would literally change people’s lives WHILE working from home everyday!

This position is NOT for someone who:

• Is seeking a full-time position with benefits
• Doesn't have a strong work ethic
• Has an unpredictable schedule in their current routine
• Is unable to commit to this role for 1-2 years minimum (our clients sign up for 8 month programs minimum)
• Has poor time management or organizational skills

If you are someone who:

• You THRIVE on 1:1 coaching (it fires you up, it’s your jam, you were born for this, you are hungry for more clients!)

• You have specialized experience in weight loss for women (we work with age range from 20s-50s)
• You take a holistic approach to health (we talk about mindset, stress management, self-care, supplements, etc!)
• You have experience or advanced certifications in working in the areas of hormone balancing, GI restoration, supplementation, herbal remedies, or any other advanced symptoms (specialty in gut health and/or hormones would be most preferred for this hire)
• You know when to give clients encouragement or tough love (an experienced coach)
• You want to set your own schedule and have a flexible career (who doesn’t?)

THE ROLE:

The Registered Dietitian is someone who is going to provide 1:1 coaching sessions for select clients within the Ditch the Diet program. The 1:1 sessions will be 20-30 minutes long via Zoom. This person will also be involved in group coaching sessions. This role reports directly to the head Dietitian. This person will be evaluated on their client satisfaction, client retention, team participation, and client organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Here are the current tasks that will be handled by the health coach:

• Lead 20-30 min client coaching calls - you need to be able to build rapport quickly and give actionable steps in a short time
• Review client weekly check-ins on Monday mornings
• Complete customized client meal meals on weekly basis (experience with That Clean Life is a bonus) and send out on Thursdays
• Review client labs and present to client
• Be involved in client texting accountability
• Be involved in biweekly team meetings

RESULTS:

• You have a minimum 15-25 weekday hours to dedicate to this role and some availability daily and some evening availability (i.e. not a situation where you work 3 full days and have two days off)
• You aren’t just here to learn my system and then start your own practice. You’re invested for the long-run
• Write ‘Yellow Onions’ in your email subject line to us so we know you are paying attention (more instructions at the bottom)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered and Licensed Dietitian or CNS (MS preferred but not required)
• Advanced training in functional medicine
• Willing to work within the goals and nutrition philosophies of the DTD program
• Maintains a high level of understanding of all content provided by DTD
• Excellent internal and external communication skills
• Shows aptitude for being a team player and go-getter
• Able to provide a weekly schedule overview at least 1 month in advance
• High focus while working remotely
• Friendly, Courteous, and Approachable
• Access to a reliable computer and wifi source
• Finds excitement in building virtual relationships
• Able to confidently and discreetly work with confidential information
• Ability to effectively communicate via Zoom, email, and Slack
• Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
• Adaptable to changes in program structure (flexibility is key)
• Fluent English speaker in US-friendly time zones (EST and CST preferred)

Part-Time

1099 Contractor

Fully Remote

15-25 hours per week (will ramp up to this over a few months)
