    Responsibilities. 

    - Direct client strategies to develop and maintain corporate image and identity, which
    includes the use of logos, signages, and social media profile and plan and execute
    social media strategies and campaigns to increase social media interaction and brand
    awareness.
    - Approach brand from holistic marketing perspective, view all media and
    forms of digital marketing, communications and advertising to develop outcomes that
    meet client objectives.
    - Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare
    information for media kits, and develop and maintain company internet or intranet web
    pages and create original, engaging and effective communication material for Chinese
    social media platforms, including Weibo and WeChat, to attract Chinese audience’s
    attention.
    - Design and edit promotional publications for clients, such as brochures, and
    literature release to increase social media presence and generate original Chinese
    visual and copy ideas for advertising and marketing to align with global marketing ideas
    and campaigns.
    - Develop and manage public relations strategies for clients that facilitate
    consumer relations or the relationship between parts of the company, such as the
    managers and employees, or different branch offices, with consumers and partners by
    developing platforms that allows our team to answer and elevate inquires, as well as
    respond and monitor comments on Chinese social media platforms with Chinese native
    tactics to increase brand accessibility and credibility.
    - Assign, supervise, and review the activities of public relations staff to create, manage and grow clients’ presence through WeChat, Weibo and other relevant online platforms. Incorporate monthly social media
    performance and Chinese social media environment to create effective social media
    engagement to dispel negative news with consumers and develop, implement, and
    maintain crisis communication plans for clients.
    - Utilize Chinese culture, market and
    audience insights to direct activities of internal teams and external parties, such as the
    client marketing or advertising departments, develop and implement communication
    strategies and information programs that correspond to public relations strategies.
    - Develop briefs that integrate market research on our client’s client base, company
    background, goals and objectives, and measurements of success to convince our
    clients of our marketing strategy.
    - Evaluate client public relations strategy by examining
    the success of existing advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public
    relations objectives and timetables.
    - Develop client reports that provide feedback on the
    progress of public relations goals, report on strategic strengths and weaknesses, and
    recommend changes to public relation strategies. Identify main client groups and
    audiences, determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them for the
    purpose of developing communication plans.
    - Track and leverage new features on Chinese social media platforms, as well as trending topics in the Chinese media environment to create innovative social media deliverables.
    - Conduct competitive,
    industry, or client research for presentations, pitches, or industry analysis.
    - *10%-20% travel required for both US domestic and international travel.

    Job Requirements:

    - Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or
    related field.

    Special Skills:
    Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being
    offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education.
    Such expertise/knowledge cannot be quantified by time. Required expertise/knowledge includes:

    - Experience in the field of public relations, communications, and marketing.
    - Experience in writing press releases, preparing information for media kits, and
    developing and maintaining company internet or intranet web pages.
    - Experience developing and managing public relations strategies for clients that facilitate
    consumer relations.
    - Experience in market research, market/competitive analysis, benchmarking, and
    forecasting.
    - Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft office, WordPress, FinalCut Pro
    - Experience with Social media analysis software: Radian 6, Crimson Hexagon,
    WeChat/Weibo Management.
