The Digital Content Specialist I researches, coordinates, edits and integrates the work of writers and designers to produce layouts that meet established branding and style guidelines. Curates content used for a variety of web, mobile, and other platforms. Being a Digital Content Specialist I guides content writers in the creation of targeted content. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
●Social Media
○ Content creation, photo/video shooting and editing, daily management of social media platforms (IG, TikTok, FB, Twitter).
○ Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, text/written) across social media platforms.
○ Grow and manage Company’s social media channels.
○ Social post Canva designs
○ Analyze and report on social media metrics to measure success of campaigns and overall social media performances
● Influencer Marketing
○ Sourcing, collaboration, follow up, tract and measurement
○ Develop and implement influencer marketing strategies that align with overall marketing objectives.
● Customer Reviews & Responses on Yelp, Google, Doordash, etc.
● Marketing Campaigns & Projects (Field & Digital)
○ Collaboration with external partners for marketing, branding, exposure, etc. ○ New store and/or product promotions
○ Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
● Store-Front Digital Support - menus, photos, flyers, banners, posters, etc.
● Website reviews and updates
○ Work with design teams to coordinate updating web pages, social media, landing pages and adherence to schedule of marketing calendars.
● Fulfillment Programs
○ Redemption reports, ownership of inventory, coordinate marketing and sales programs in partnership with 3rd party entities (i.e. membership warehouse clubs)
○ E-cards (gift cards)
● Weekly reports on progress, ROI, updates, and effectiveness of digital content/media effectiveness.
● Research content and consumer trends, and develop content strategies.
● Complete other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
● Education:
○ Bachelor's degree in marketing/business, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
● Proven Experience:
○ Min. 3 years of experience in marketing, social media platforms, and/or content marketing.
● Writing, proofreading, and editing skills, computer proficiency
● Data Analysis and Analytical Thinking Skills to evaluate information and determine logical conclusions
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
● Experience with content management and understanding of social media platforms.
● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
● Must be able to work independently and within a team environment, with minimal instructions.
● Communication Skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills ○ Bilingual preferred (Mandarin/English)
● Knowledge of web publishing requirements (SEO, SEM) a plus.
● Experience in the F&B industry is a plus.
