    The Digital Content Specialist concentrates on creating and managing digital content across various online platforms and channels. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing content strategies to engage target audiences and drive traffic. Creating written, visual, and multimedia content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels. Analyzing content performance metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize content effectiveness. Skills required: Strong writing and editing skills. Knowledge of SEO principles and content management systems. Proficient in overseeing business social media accounts and leveraging digital analytics tools. Overseeing social media accounts for GCRTA’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with the audience. Incorporating search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve content visibility and reach. Collaborating with teams to develop content strategies that resonate with target audiences and support the Authority’s initiatives and objectives. Provides excellent customer service/relations to elevate GCRTA’s customer experience.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, communications, journalism (or equivalent training and experience) and 3 to 5 years of experience in email marketing, digital content creation, social media management, professional writing (i.e. blogs, journalism, storytelling).
    • Must demonstrate experience with design of digital and print materials (submit professional work samples).
    • Knowledge of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and market research methods.
    • Ability to manage time and prioritize projects in a collaborative environment that meets deadlines.
    • Strong prioritization, organization, multi-task, and project management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • Develop creative using photos, videos, audio, graphic and writing skills to convey messages.
    • Skilled in writing and editing content with attention to detail.
    • Experience in marketing data analytics with knowledge or understanding of analytic tools.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM and Social Media Management software.
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, and CMS software.
    • Not required but preferred: Digital Marketing Certification, Social Media Management, Digital Content Creation, Google Analytics Certification.
