Participates in all phases of physical design including floor planning, clock synthesis, timing optimization and signal integrity. Being a Digital Design Engineer generates functional and design specifications, defines module interfaces, conducts design reviews and participates in design implementation. Requires knowledge of tools such as BIST, Verilog, IDDQ, and IC Design scripting language. Additionally, Digital Design Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The Digital Design Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. What is the project about, what will the selected candidate be doing and what is the outcome our customer expects?
The digital design engineer position is located in Chandler, AZ. The person in this role will own RTL design and report to digital design lead. Key responsibilities include understanding design specification and communication protocols (PSI, DSI, SPI, and I2C), RTL design using various Cadence tools , MATLAB, and have good knowledge of digital design methodology, flow and tools.
