Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in accordance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and mixer to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload ready-mix concrete at the plant and customer sites.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of concrete to customer sites.
• Handle and maneuver the truck and mixer in tight spaces and on various types of terrain.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other personnel to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns or issues.
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery tickets and logbooks, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, both inside and outside.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking and adding fluids, and reporting any mechanical issues or repairs needed.

Requirements:

• Valid [Driver's License and/or any additional licenses or endorsements required for operating a ready-mix concrete truck].
• Previous experience as a professional truck driver, preferably with experience driving a ready-mix concrete truck.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices, traffic regulations, and the ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and navigate to customer sites efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of ready-mix concrete and the ability to identify and address potential issues related to concrete quality during delivery.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle heavy materials.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
