Digital Marketing Analyst supports the digital marketing strategy by implementing programs and tactics to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Being a Digital Marketing Analyst develops, curates, and deploys compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Prepares and launches social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Additionally, Digital Marketing Analyst collects and analyzes online statistics to identify marketplace trends and best practices to optimize online marketing performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Digital Marketing Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. This position's primary focus will be to write and produce videos and other related digital marketing content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) and email outreach campaigns. Additionally, this position may assist with gathering and analyzing social media data to increase impressions and online student engagement.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and creative, as well as have a strong interest in and familiarity with copywriting, social media, video editing, digital marketing, and videography. The ideal candidate for this position will also demonstrate a strong interest in promoting online student success at UNM, with a specific focus on reaching and engaging exclusively online students who are non-traditional, working adults and do not attend classes on campus.
This position may be eligible for some remote work but will require some in-person meetings and filming/production days on campus. Any remote or hybrid work will be subject to UNM Policy 3245: Remote Work and must meet the evolving needs of the department.Minimum Qualifications Equivalencies not found for this position
Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
- Skilled in videography
- Strong Grammar and proofing skills
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with UNM
- Availability to work 10-15 hours per week in Spring 2024 semester
- Experience taking an online course or currently enrolled in an online degree program
- Previous marketing, creative production, copywriting, and design experience
- Knowledge of social media content development (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube)
